orange dream protein shake

I’m on a really big citrus kick. Especially oranges and orange juice.

Who couldn’t use the extra vitamin C, especially in the winter???

This shake is great for your breakfast or as a post workout. I may have done both. But not in the same day. I’m not sure what it is about oranges right now but I literally can’t stop eating them. And in case you’ve read my blog before, I love love love fresh squeezed orange juice especially in my cocktails. I did use store bought orange juice for this shake though because it uses a whole cup of OJ and that’s a whole lot of oranges to juice. Especially when I only have a hand juicer, not an electric juicer.

Orange dream protein shake
1 cup greek yogurt
1 cup orange juice
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk (I used almond milk)
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
Place all ingredients in a blender with 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth.

A tasty glass of vitamin C with a kick of protein. Does it get any better?
