I made us something really good for Valentine’s day! Your honey will thank me later…No honey? No problem! This cocktail is too good to pass up.

This cocktail is called “wild thing.” I thought it was appropriate for Valentine’s Day. It also immediately makes you start singing “wild thing, you make my heart sing!” This cocktail is made with tequila which can then make you sing “tequila makes her clothes fall off…” Is this cocktail karaoke?

This cocktail is slightly reminiscent of a margarita or it’s kind of like the my diet starts today cocktail but with tequila instead of vodka. Kinda sorta. This may be my new go to drink. Not as sour as a margarita but not sweet. And made with tequila, my favorite. This cocktail is bringing sexy back… ok I’ll stop with the songs now. Speaking of “stop”, did you ever see that ecard that says I never know what to do when I hear someone say stop. Is it- in the name of love? hammertime? Do I collaborate and listen? See I just can’t quit with the songs tonight.

Any plans for Valentine’s day? It’s President’s day on Monday. A double holiday weekend! That calls for a double shot of tequila in your cocktail! And and, The Walking Dead returns tomorrow night which also means you will want another double shot. Plus there’s all kinds of sales going on for President’s day which could put a hurting on your pocketbook which could also make you want another double shot. Are you drunk yet? Am I because I used the word pocketbook?

So let’s talk about this sexy cocktail….

Wild thing
2 oz tequila
1/2 oz lime juice
1 oz cranberry juice
2 oz club soda
1 lime slice
Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice. Putting on something sexy and singing “wild thing” optional…
