This cocktail is like Fall in a glass. Seriously the spices and the pumpkin and the spiced rum all combine for this amazing aroma. I wanted to make this drink a hot spiced cider, which you could totally do with apple cider, but I was too stupid to read the label closely enough. All I could see was pumpkin cider in this really cool bottle that I found at my favorite grocery store in all the land-Aldi. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bottle and it popped really loudly and it was all sparkly and fizzy when I poured it and I’m all like “what the what?” Oh yeah, the label says sparkling. Duh! So I just made the drink without heating it and it was still very delicious. And bubbly.

Rum sparkling spiced pumpkin cider cocktail
1 oz spiced rum
1 oz dark rum
sparkling pumpkin cider
Pour rum(s) in a glass and top with pumpkin cider. I rimmed the glass with caramel then cinnamon sugar. It makes the drink taste even more like all the tastes and smells of Fall.
