It’s peanutbutter jelly time!!

Just like how all the kids headed back too school, I’m headed back to the gym and getting back to the basics of working out. So instead of packing my lunch with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I packed it all into a protein shake for my post workout lunch. pb&j protein shake
I was a little leery at first. To add jelly to a protein shake. But I was very pleasantly surprised by how very good it tasted. Mikey even agreed that this shake was very good. He looked at me all funny and then looked at the jar of jelly and asked horrified if I put grape jelly “in” the shake. I said “Umm yea, it’s a pb&j protein shake. Just drink it, you’ll like it.” And he did. Drink it and liked it.

I used the classic grape jelly too. I was never one for using any other kind/flavor of jelly on my pb&j. Only grape. But of course you do you and try your favorite jelly.

When I was in school, I probably ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches 3 out of 5 days a week. The other 2 days were usually a ham sandwich that I would put some potato chips on the sandwich to eat. Weird? Not at all. I know you did it too….
