Frozen Friday 3

I was not going to subject you to another frozen Friday drink BUT it’s still sunshiney gorgeous and over 80 degrees around here so just like Ms. Spears says…”oops, I did it again.”  It’s going to be fall in 5 days people.  I can’t take it.  And while I love pumpkin everything and have a few autumny cocktails in mind, I still love summer sooooo much and couldn’t wait to make a frozen drink and sit in the sun with a good book.  Are you with me on this?  If your weather sucks and it’s cold where you’re at well then I’m so sorry to hear that.  That of course doesn’t mean you still can’t make this frozen drink though.  Celebrate with me anyway because it is still FRIDAY!

So this frozen drink doesn’t have a name.  It’s sort of like a dirty monkey but I threw in some peanut butter because I really like peanut butter and banana milkshakes.  Actually I used to always drink peanut butter and banana protein shakes after my workouts or in between clients back in the days when I was a personal trainer at a gym with a smoothie bar.  So instead of being all healthy and cool, I added alcohol instead of protein powder.  Maybe that makes me cooler? Haha.

Just throw it all in the blender.

Peanut butter, banana, and rum frozen drink

1 cup ice

1/2 frozen banana

1/2 tablespoon peanutbutter

1 1/2 oz rum

1 1/2 oz Kahlua

2 oz milk ( I use original almond milk)

chocolate syrup to swirl around inside of glass

Combine first 6 ingredients in a blender.  Pour into chocolate swirled glass.  Enjoy!
